Vehicle Description

This aircraft is an original Swiss Air Force (SAF) trainer and was in service with SAF till early 90s when it was officially replaced with the turbo version of its type called PC7. This is one of only known two P3-05 in existence with under wing hard point attachments with original Orliken rockets and its carriers. There is also two 500 lbs practice bombs which fits under the wing as well. The hard points can be used for drop tanks or any other items for exhibition purposes as the airworthiness certificate is experimental and does not need any certification.

Originally After its retirement, the SAF wanted to keep this airplane in its fleet for its air shows as its condition was superior to the other ones in the fleet. Therefore the SAF proceeded with replacing all the wiring with new and updated wiring. however some years later SAF decided against keeping it and sold it in 1999. The aircraft was purchased from the SAF and professionally crated and shipped to United States where it went through full paperwork and certification process with FAA and was issued a special certificate of airworthiness in Experimental category and for purpose of exhibition and air racing.

The aircraft system has been modernized while keeping the original look. The electrical system has been upgraded with a dual buss electrical system with electronic circuit breaker powered by Vertical Power to accomodate full glas cockpit. A full Garmin G3X Touch system with Garmin full integrated and coupled autopilot / flight director is the back bone of the system while a Garmin G5 serves back up EFIS. A Garmin GEA 24 provides for a fully integrated Engine Indication and information System in addition to a full fuel computer, electronic Fuel quantity, flap and landing gear indication. Garmin 430 navigaror provides Nav / Comm / GPS. Other avionics include Garmin GTR20 Comm, Garmin GMA 245 Audio Panel, Garmin GTX 23S transponder and ADSB out, GDL 39 ADSB in and a CO Guardian integrated CO detector. The system also allows for downloading of the database and flightplans wirelesly from Garmin Pilot.

There are no known damage history. All original logs for the aircraft is present and the aircraft has been meticulously maintained since its birth.

The airplane has a superb flying characteristics and is fully aerobatic capable of all aerobatics maneuvers with VNE of 260 KTS and It has an extremely low operating cost for its capabilities.
